Abacus

The Abacus project is a collection of jazz, world, and avant-garde musicians from all corners of the globe, exploring light, darkness, and our time through music. Combining modally influenced jazz with both vanguard textures and folk forms, the quintet takes the audience on a journey that readily embraces the unknown.

Performing original works, with select pieces by Paul Motian, Charles Lloyd, and others.
