來自加拿大的獲獎吉他手與作曲家 Roy Patterson，將攜手台北頂尖爵士樂手，帶來一晚精選爵士經典、名曲與原創作品的演出。
Roy 的音樂以旋律感與深厚情感著稱，曾受《環球郵報》與《多倫多星報》等媒體高度讚譽，演奏足跡遍及歐美與加拿大。

Award winning Canadian guitarist and composer, Roy Patterson will be performing a programme of jazz standards, classics, and original compositions at Sappho in Taipei on May 23, 2025. Roy’s work has been documented on several CDs released between 1989 and 2014, receiving national and international recognition.
Every note that he plays seems to have a purpose and a place, and both purpose and place usually have something to do with melody.” – The Globe and Mail

His playing has been compared with some of the most recognized guitarists in recent decades, and his music has taken him to Europe, the USA, and across Canada. As an educator Roy taught in the jazz programme at the University of Toronto for over a decade and since 2003 has taught at Toronto’s York University. For over twenty years he was a regular contributor to the US publication, “Just Jazz Guitar” and is profiled in, “The Great Jazz Guitarists: The Ultimate Guide” by Scott Yanow. (Backbeat Books, 2013)
