RP3（Rémi Panossian Trio）首先是一段關於友情的故事，由三位法國爵士樂界的「壞孩子」——Rémi Panossian（鋼琴）、Maxime Delporte（貝斯）與 Frédéric Petitprez（鼓）組成，他們自 2009 年開始這段音樂旅程。
三人攜手以調皮的態度挑戰爵士的既有規則，融合旋律性的抒情與容易上癮的律動。他們坦然擁抱自身「流行（pop）」的一面——輕盈卻始終講究品質。旋律彷彿帶有語言卻不多話，節奏複雜但依然容易被理解。這些當代爵士音樂家始終只有一個目標：用他們的技巧與能力服務於音樂最核心的本質——情感，並從中獲得樂趣。因此，他們常被拿來與 The Bad Plus 或 Esbjörn Svensson Trio 相提並論，因為其藝術上的自由與創造力；同時在律動上也讓人聯想到 The Roots。

About the Performance
RP3 (Rémi Panossian Trio) is, above all, a story of friendship. Formed in 2009, the trio brings together three of the French jazz scene’s most spirited “bad boys”: pianist Rémi Panossian, bassist Maxime Delporte, and drummer Frédéric Petitprez.
Together, they playfully challenge the conventions of jazz, blending lyrical melodies with irresistibly infectious grooves. Unafraid to embrace their “pop” side, their music remains accessible without ever compromising artistic quality. Their melodies are expressive yet never verbose; their rhythms are sophisticated yet remarkably easy to connect with.
For these contemporary jazz musicians, there has always been one guiding principle: to place their technical mastery entirely at the service of music’s most essential purpose—emotion—and to enjoy the journey along the way. Their artistic freedom and creativity have often drawn comparisons to The Bad Plus and Esbjörn Svensson Trio, while their powerful sense of groove occasionally evokes The Roots.
Over the years, RP3 has built a solid international reputation, performing more than 500 concerts worldwide and releasing five critically acclaimed albums. Today, they are widely recognized as one of France’s most internationally visible jazz groups.
Following the release of Happy Birthdé this spring—a live compilation celebrating twelve years of music-making across stages around the world—the most adventurous and entertaining French jazz trio is ready to return once again this autumn.
Their brand-new album, Sun Monkey Voltage, will be released on October 21, marking an exciting new chapter in the continuing journey of RP3.
