In preparation for their first studio record, Brandon Lin & TruthSeeker welcomes you to join us on a special night at Sappho featuring Eric Nakanishi, flying in from the US to grace our ears with his soulful alto saxophone sound. Eric is a long time friend of Brandon, and will also be featured on the upcoming album. Don’t miss out on this reunion!
由長號手 Brandon Lin 林庭揚 領軍的 TruthSeeker，以獨特的音色與深刻的情感，描繪現代人內心的旅程。樂團的音樂融合當代爵士、後搖滾與印象派的氛圍，時而激昂、時而內斂，在即興之間探索理性與感性、焦慮與信念的邊界。
自 2022 年成立以來，TruthSeeker 受邀參演2024泰國國際爵士音樂節與及2025台北爵士音樂節，並於 2025 年發行首張 EP《Must Be Going》。
TruthSeeker is a trombone-led jazz quartet founded by multi-instrumentalist Brandon Lin, whose performances span the Kennedy Center, SXSW, and Taiwan’s National Concert Hall. Blending contemporary jazz with shades of midwest-emo, post-rock, and impressionism, Lin’s compositions explore emotion and consciousness through sound. With Alan Chao (guitar), ChangYou
Lee (bass), and Steven Ma (drums), the group crafts music that is raw, lyrical,
and cinematic. Since forming in 2022, TruthSeeker has appeared at the 2024
Thailand International Jazz Conference and 2025 Taipei Jazz Festival, and released their debut EP Must Be Going in 2025.
