《 Eric Shen Quartet 》

旅居洛杉磯的爵士吉他手 Eric Shen，近年活躍於洛杉磯爵士樂壇，持續帶領自己的 Modern Jazz 樂團演出，現正職於好萊塢 Musicians Institute教書。正在籌備個人首張專輯的 Eric，此次將自己的音樂帶回台北，與近期發行首張個人專輯《Tidelines》的貝斯手 Julian Wittich、長期於國際郵輪演出的鼓手 Yen，以及活躍於台北爵士樂壇的薩克斯風手蘇聖育共同組成 Eric Shen Quartet。樂團的音樂以爵士傳統為基底，同時融合現代爵士的風格。

Los Angeles–based guitarist Eric Shen is an active bandleader and performer in the LA jazz scene and currently an instructor at Musicians Institute in Hollywood. While working on his debut album, Shen brings his music to Taipei with a quartet featuring bassist Julian Wittich, who recently released his debut album Tidelines; drummer Yen, an experienced cruise-ship musician; and saxophonist 蘇聖育, an active and well-known presence in Taipei’s jazz scene. Together, the Eric Shen Quartet presents music that draws from the jazz tradition while carrying a distinctly modern edge.
