由薩克斯風手李維炘與貝斯手 Sujong Park 所組成的二重奏，以極簡編制展開關於旋律與節奏的深層對話。「Reed」象徵氣息與旋律的流動，「Root」則指向節奏與和聲的根基。他們在自由即興與默契互動之中，構築一種既細膩又靜謐的音樂語言。
本場演出將帶來經典爵士作品與兩位音樂人原創樂曲，從熟悉的旋律出發，穿梭於意想不到的即興篇章，邀請聆聽者一同進入流動的聲音風景。

Reed & Root｜Live at Sappho
Formed by saxophonist Wei-Shin Lee and bassist Sujong Park, Reed & Root is a duo project that explores the essence of musical dialogue through a minimalist setting. “Reed” embodies the breath and flow of melody, while “Root” grounds the harmony and rhythm. Their performance weaves intuitive improvisation and subtle interplay into a sonic landscape that is both intimate and expansive.
This evening’s set will feature jazz standards alongside original compositions by the duo, guiding listeners through familiar motifs and spontaneous detours alike.
