A graduate of the Eastman School of Music (BM ’22\, MM ’24)\, he has performed nationally and worked alongside a number of Grammy Award-winning and Grammy-nominated artists\, including Maria Schneider\, Christian McBride\, Dafnis Prieto\, John Clayton\, Ryan Keberle\, and Reuben Rogers.Ryan is the co-founder of the modern jazz quartet Side Step\, a group inspired by the legacy of Elvin Jones and Steve Grossman. Since forming in 2022\, Side Step has toured throughout the U.S. and released their debut album Blues Clues. Ryan has also appeared at major festivals such as BottleRock Napa Valley\, the Rochester International Jazz Festival\, and the Lilac Festival\, and has recorded with artists across jazz and contemporary music.Alongside performing\, Ryan is a dedicated educator.
