《 Tom Ricci Presents: So Amor 》
Following last year’s successful Chet Baker Tribute performances in Taipei with Leeway Cheng on trumpet, California-based vocalist and guitarist Tom Ricci returns to Sappho Live Jazz with a new program under his own name: Tom Ricci Presents: So Amor, named after his debut jazz album released at the end of 2025.
After recent So Amor performances in South America, including Chile and his native Argentina, and most recently in Shanghai, Tom Ricci now brings the project to Taiwan for one special night. The show blends jazz standards, bossa nova, Latin classics, blues, and original music, bringing together the warmth of Latin America with the intimacy of a late-night jazz club. And of course, the evening will include a few nods to Chet Baker as well.
For this Taiwan presentation, Ricci reunites with Leeway Cheng, one of Taiwan’s most respected jazz trumpet players, alongside a stellar band featuring Jack Huang on piano, New York-based jazz arranger and composer LoYu Wen on upright bass, and Ricci’s longtime jazz drummer Mark Boatman.
*This will be Tom Ricci’s only Taiwan presentation of So Amor this summer.

繼去年在台北成功演出的 Chet Baker Tribute，並與小號手 Leeway Cheng 合作後，定居於加州的主唱兼吉他手 Tom Ricci 將帶著以自己名字呈現的全新節目，回到 Sappho Live Jazz：Tom Ricci Presents: So Amor。此節目名稱來自他於 2025 年底發行的首張爵士專輯 So Amor。
在南美洲的 Chile、他的出生地 Argentina，以及最近於 Shanghai 演出 So Amor 之後，Tom Ricci 這次將這個音樂計畫帶到台灣，獻上一場特別演出。節目融合爵士標準曲、Bossa Nova、拉丁經典、藍調與原創作品，將拉丁美洲的溫度與深夜爵士俱樂部的親密氛圍交織在一起。當然，這個夜晚也會有幾首向 Chet Baker 致意的曲目。
這次台灣演出，Ricci 將再度與 Leeway Cheng 合作。Leeway 是台灣最受尊敬的爵士小號手之一，並將與一組精彩樂手共同登台：Jack Huang 擔任鋼琴，紐約的爵士編曲家與作曲家 LoYu Wen 擔任低音提琴，以及 Ricci 長期合作的爵士鼓手 Mark Boatman。
這將是 Tom Ricci 今夏唯一一場 So Amor 台灣演出。
